Sue Porrett

CEO / Producer

Aerial Angels owes its fantastic reputation to producer/director Sue Porrett. Sue began her career as a young aerial artist who was trained by the renowned Nikki Ashton of Ashton’s Circus. Honing her craft, Sue travelled the world for over twenty years with numerous stage spectaculars and productions. Her performance credits and contact base are too numerous to mention. Sue’s signature trick is the amazing Spanish Web neck spin which is not performed by anyone else in the country. This trick was mastered by Sue from a young age, after she imagined it in a dream. With her many years of performing, Sue learnt valuable skills in production and direction. Along the way she formed an incredible company of writers and choreographers that now make up the Aerial Angels team. Sue’s passion and drive for excellence is mirrored in every facet of Aerial Angels Productions.

Decinda MacDonald
Managing Director

Decinda MacDonald began her career in the entertainment industry as a pianist, dancer & actor. Decinda trained in all things theatrical at the Academy of Screen Performance on the Gold Coast, and used her skills for numerous character based performances for many years. Decinda joined the Aerial Angels team in 2003 and under the direction of Sue Porrett has become a force to be reckoned with in the events industry. Decinda’s performance background coupled with hands on industry experience enable her to consult & cater for clients needs from concept to completion. Decinda oversees all aspects of the day to day running of Aerial Angels Productions. Her duties include Business Development, Marketing, producing small scale shows for corporate events & shopping centres & acting as stage manager / event co-ordinator at numerous functions throughout Queensland.

Kate Grammatico
Academy Director / Choreographer

Kate began dancing at the young age of 3 in Melbourne. Studying tap, jazz and ballet under the direction of Barbara Lynch. Her professional career began at 11 years of age with the Australian Ballet performing in The Nutcracker. Since then she has worked extensively throughout Australia and Asia. Some of her credits include the Australian tour of Happy Days, Reef Casino Cairns, Hidden Palace at Conrad Jupiters Casino, Dragon Fly theatre Restaurant, AFL footy show, Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, Talk to the Animals & Powerpuff tour of Malaysia just to name a few. Her televison credits also include Aqua marine, Mortified, Bianca, Carols by candlelight, Toasted TV, Hot source, Good Friday appeal and Journey to the centre of the earth. Kate has been the resident choreographer for Warner Village Movie World theme park on the Gold Coast for the last 5 years. She know lends her hand to the Aerial Angels administration team as Academy Director and continues to provide cutting edge choreography to all our shows, making every production a stand out.

Dallas D'Bois
Production Assistant

With over 10 years experience in the entertainment industry Dallas has worked extensively in both production & customer service. During this time he has gained experience in all aspects of theatre and live entertainment productions including costume and set design, stage management, audio & lighting. Dallas has spent the last 6 years as a Theatre Co-ordinator at Conrad Jupiters Hotel & Casino, working alongside the acclaimed stage spectaculars “Inneuvre”, “Hidden Palace”, “Rhythm of the Night” “Storm” and “Midnight Magic”. Dallas is now proud to add his creative energy and knowledge to the Aerial Angels Team.

Aerial Music
Music Production

Aerial Music is a division of Aerial Angels Productions specialising in music productions & sound design for live theatre & cabaret. The division is under the direction of David Rushton & Shannon Whitelock who both have over 10 years experience in the music industry. David & Shannon both attended the Conservatorium of Music and have various international & local performer credits to their names including production for Hip Hop legends “Digital Underground”. Credits also include music & sound design for Conrad Jupiters Casino stage spectaculars, Reef Casino Cairns and various corporate & night club shows. Aerial Music incorporates the latest in technology in our designs and are one of Australia’s leading surround sound designers.
